Getting Old ...

The thinking of getting old come up when I took a walk around my block with my mum last Sunday, at the bright beautiful morning ..., while I was watching her ... I asked her what her feeling be a grandma ... and getting old ... she said that it's nothing special ... so-so ... I was laughing at that time ... ha ha ha ...

Why did I ask that question ?? ... I didn't know ... maybe I was afraid of getting old ??


So I start searching what other people think of getting old and here some of them :

You know you're getting old...
- It takes two tries to get up from the couch.
- When your idea of a night out is sitting on the patio.
- When happy hour is a nap.
- When you're on vacation and your ENERGY runs out before your money does.
- When you step off a curb and look down one more time to make sure the street is still there.
- It takes longer to rest than it did to get tired.
- Your memory is shorter and your complaining lasts longer.
- You look for your glasses for half an hour and they were on your head the whole time.
- You give up all your bad habits and still don't feel good
- You have more patience, but it is actually that you just don't care anymore.

I hope it will be a nice experience "being old" ... to feel it ... and enjoy it ... since we can't avoid that time ...

A New Year Joke - A depressed man

There's a man sitting at a bar just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half an hour. Then, a big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down.

Friend

What does it mean? A person you know well and regard with affection and trust? A person whom you know, like, and trust?

When we search on "quote friend" we could get so many quotation about friend. Some quotes that touch my feeling and my thinking are :

Although in my life, I have not got so many friends, but thank God, I always get one in every stage of my life, for me it's enough. I believe since I could not manage so many friends well, God had not sent so many friends for me. I got a little but all were the best. I was very happy to get all of them.

Friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm us.

Palestina dan Israel, orang-orang sombong yang putus asa ...

Konflik Palestina dan Israel di jalur Gaza, peperangan karena orang sombong yang putus asa, Israel membunuh penduduk sipil karena sudah tidak melihat ada cara lain yang lebih baik untuk menghadapi Hamas yang sama-sama keras kepala. Israel sombong, tidak mau pengalah, karena merasa mempunyai kekuatan militer.

Terroris (Al-Qaedah) membunuh orang sipil hampir diseluruh dunia, karena sangat membenci Amerika, salah satu aksinya adalah ketika mereka menabrakan pesawat bajakan pada gedung WTC di new York (black September), dengan korban semua orang sipil. Al-Qaedah putus asa tidak dapat menemukan cara yang lebih baik untuk menghadapi Amerika. Al-Qaedah sombong, merasa bahwa pembunuhannya direstui oleh tuhannya.

Pernyataan Presiden Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad yang akan menghapus Israel dari peta, yang apabila terjadi, korbannya adalah penduduk sipil. Pernyataan orang putus asa yang tidak dapat melihat jalan keluar yang lebih baik, kecuali dengan mengorbankan penduduk sipil yang tidak berdosa. Dia sombong karena merasa mampu untuk menghancurkan negara lain.

Kalau aku bertengkar dengan saudaraku, orangtuaku selalu bilang, pertengkaran selalu terjadi karena sama-sama keras kepala dan sombong, kalau ada satu saja yang mengalah tidak akan bertengkar, dan kami yang bertengkar, semuanya kena hukuman yang sama... dijewer + omelan panjang pendek ...

Bagaimanapun adalah sangat terhormat untuk selalu menghindari cara-cara kekerasan dalam menyelesaikan masalah sehingga tidak mengorbankan warga sipil yang tidak berdosa. Kekerasan hanya dilakukan oleh orang-orang sombong yang putus asa, sehingga tidak dapat melihat kemungkinan lain yang lebih baik.

Honesty

For me honesty is a key for any relationship, without honesty the relationship is nothing, honesty is the best policy.

* Honesty is being sincere, truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair, genuine, and loyal with integrity.

Anyone ask for honesty, since no one likes being lied to.

Lying with words is simple enough to pull off but easy enough to detect. No matter how smooth and suave the lie has been delivered, we all have an innate sense of knowing that we were lied to. Just feeling that we have been deceived already hurts, regardless of whether it was done deliberately or not.

In the end, the truth shall come out.

It is clear that honesty is vital to the health of all relationships.

For me, peace means patience.
since patience is the ability to wait for something

other unpleasant things without complaining.

Mother Teresa said that peace is the fruit of service and
peace caused we haven't forgotten that we belong to each other.

There are many different meaning of peace that I could get
from many sources, some are as follows :

or the absence of hostility, a non-violent way of life,
a state of quiet or tranquility—an absence of disturbance or
agitation, the presence of justice, calmness-serenity-silence,
the cessation of violent conflict, a relationship between
any people characterized by respect-justice-goodwill.

peace can pertain to an individual's sense of himself or herself,
as to be "at peace" with one's own mind.

Kitab Suci dan Kehidupan

Begitu banyak orang mempertentangkan atau memperbandingkan
kitab suci yang satu dengan yang lain, tentang isi ataupun
sinkronisasi didalamnya.

Begitu banyak tenaga dan pikiran dicurahkan untuk
mempelajari kitab-kitab suci, hanya untuk meyakinkan dirinya juga
mungkin orang lain tentang kebenaran yang tertulis didalamnya.

Begitu banyak energi dikeluarkan hanya untk mencari
kesalahan yang terdapat pada kitab suci-kitab suci tersebut,
dan meyakinkan diri sendiri bahwa, kitab suci yang dianut
adalah paling benar.

Begitu banyak waktu dan uang yang dibuang hanya untuk
menunjukkan betapa bodohnya manusia itu, dengan melakukan
hal-hal tersebut diatas.

semua dapat memahaminya dengan mudah.

Percaya pada Tuhan adalah mencintaiNya dengan segenap hati dan
segenap jiwaraga, dengan selalu bersyukur untuk kehidupan yang
diberikanNya,dengan mencintai kehidupan yang diberikanNya.

Percaya pada Tuhan adalah tidak berlagak sebagai pelindung Tuhan,
karena Dia tidak perlu pelindung, Dia dapat melindungi diriNya sendiri.

Percaya pada Tuhan adalah tidak perang dan tidak membunuh demi Tuhan,
