Getting Old ...

The thinking of getting old come up when I took a walk around my block with my mum last Sunday, at the bright beautiful morning ..., while I was watching her ... I asked her what her feeling be a grandma ... and getting old ... she said that it's nothing special ... so-so ... I was laughing at that time ... ha ha ha ...

Why did I ask that question ?? ... I didn't know ... maybe I was afraid of getting old ??

So I start searching what other people think of getting old and here some of them :
Josh Billings : In youth we run into difficulties; in old age difficulties run into us.
Diana Cooper : Age is an ugly thing, and it goes on getting worse.
Leon Trotsky : Old age is the most unexpected of all the things that happen to a man.
Chinese proverb : Men grow old, pearls grow yellow, there is no cure for it.
Arnold Glasow : Find an aim in life before you run out of ammunition.
François de la Rochefoucauld, Maximes : As we grow older we grow both more foolish and wiser at the same time.

"At twenty we worry about what others think of us; at forty we don't care about what others think of us; at sixty we discover they haven't been thinking about us at all"

You know you're getting old...
- It takes two tries to get up from the couch.
- When your idea of a night out is sitting on the patio.
- When happy hour is a nap.
- When you're on vacation and your ENERGY runs out before your money does.
- When you step off a curb and look down one more time to make sure the street is still there.
- It takes longer to rest than it did to get tired.
- Your memory is shorter and your complaining lasts longer.
- You look for your glasses for half an hour and they were on your head the whole time.
- You give up all your bad habits and still don't feel good
- You have more patience, but it is actually that you just don't care anymore.
- Your favorite part of the newspaper is "20 years ago today."
- You know all the answers but nobody asks you the questions.

I hope it will be a nice experience "being old" ... to feel it ... and enjoy it ... since we can't avoid that time ...

Don't worry ... be happy ...
.
